IB JIO-II Tech Result 2025: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has declared the result of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical (JIO-II/Tech) recruitment examination 2025. This recruitment examination was conducted to fill a total of 394 posts in the Technical Cadre of the Intelligence Bureau. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check and download their results from the official website mha.gov.in.
Shortlisted Candidates for Skill Test and Interview
According to the official statement released by the IB, based on the written examination/computer-based test held on October 15, 2025, some candidates have been shortlisted for the skill test and interview. Selected candidates will be notified soon via email and SMS.
Shortlisted candidates will have to download their call letters for the skill test and interview, which will contain the exam date, time, examination center, and other necessary instructions.

A total of 394 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. The details of the vacancies are as follows:
157 posts for the Unreserved category
117 posts for Other Backward Classes (OBC)
32 posts for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)
60 posts for Scheduled Castes (SC)
28 posts for Scheduled Tribes (ST)
Educational Qualification
For this recruitment, candidates were required to have a diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Information Technology, or Computer Science. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics were also eligible. A Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree was also considered valid. Age Limit
As of the last date of application, September 14, 2025, the age of the candidates was required to be between 18 and 27 years. Age relaxation was provided to reserved categories as per government rules.
Application Fee
The application fee was ₹650 for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates, while it was ₹550 for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Persons with Disabilities, and female candidates.
