This is important news for candidates interested in applying for HTET 2025. The extended application process for the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET) 2025, conducted by the Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH), will end today. ​​Therefore, interested candidates who missed the earlier deadline can apply as soon as possible by visiting the official website bseh.org.in. Previously, the last date to apply was January 4, 2025.

HTET 2025: Levels

The HTET exam is conducted for three teaching levels:

Level 1 is for candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5.
Level 2 is for those seeking teaching jobs in classes 6 to 8.
Level 3 is for candidates who want to teach classes 9 to 12.

HTET Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates can understand the exam pattern through the points mentioned below:

The HTET exam is conducted in offline mode.
OMR answer sheets are used.
All questions are multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
The paper consists of 150 questions.
Each question carries one mark.
The total marks are 150.
Candidates get two hours and thirty minutes to complete the paper.
There is no negative marking.

Section-wise distribution of questions

The paper includes Child Development and Pedagogy, which has 30 questions. This section tests the understanding of learning processes and teaching methods. Language proficiency is assessed through Hindi and English. Each language section has 15 questions.
The General Studies section has 60 questions. This includes General Knowledge of Haryana, Reasoning, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
For Levels 2 and 3, there is an additional subject-specific section of 30 questions. The subject depends on the teaching discipline chosen by the candidate.
