Madhya Pradesh East Region Electricity Distribution Company has made innovations to improve the services of consumers, pensioners and administrative systems, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar on Monday launched three innovations made by the company for the benefit of electricity consumers, pensioners and administrative strengthening through video conferencing. He also virtually inaugurated the synthetic lawn tennis court. Minister Tomar launched Nalanda Records Room, QR Feedback System and released Pension Mitra Booklet.
Energy Minister Tomar said that a modern and computerized record room has been prepared by the East Zone Company. The records are kept in high quality plastic boxes to protect them from moisture, sunlight, dampness, termites and wear and tear. While classifying the records, indexing was done in different racks department wise so that they can be easily searched in the computer. On the other hand, the old records kept at the headquarters will now be under one roof and the corridors and store rooms of all the offices will be clean and organized. Cameras and fire safety equipment have been installed in the record room. In the record room, 7000 files of Human Resource Department, 6000 of Work Department, 4500 of Purchase and Stores, 6000 of Commerce Department, 3000 of Finance Department and about 6000 of other departments, thus a total of more than 32,000 files have been maintained. By creating a record room, important files, registers, orders, maps etc. will be safe. Protection from fire, moisture, termites, theft and damage will be possible.
Minister Tomar said that the technical innovation QR Feedback system of the East Zone Company has also been launched. It will be pasted in the premises of all the offices of the company like distribution centre, sub-station, sub-division, division, accounts office, circle, regional office, corporate office, at places accessible to consumers like main gate, information board, corridor, consumer counter and outside the cabins of officers/employees. In this, by scanning the QR code, consumers will be able to directly convey their experiences and suggestions to the management about the behavior of officers/employees, their working system and office cleanliness in just 1 to 2 minutes. This system is not a medium for filing complaints, but will become a means to improve the overall service quality and system on the basis of positive suggestions and experiences.
The Energy Minister said that the ‘Pension Mitra’ booklet is a highly commendable effort towards strengthening the respect, self-respect and self-reliance of the employees. This booklet presents the pension rules, orders and procedures in a simple, easy and integrated form, so that the pensioners do not have to wander and they can get clear information about their rights at one place. Apart from this, AI based digital chatbot of Pension Mitra booklet has also been launched, in which if the pensioners ask any question to pension, gratuity, commutation, allowances and other benefits, then they will immediately get the appropriate answer as per the need, which will be convenient in resolving their cases.
Minister Shri Tomar said that Mr. Q. A synthetic tennis court has been inaugurated by Power Management Company Limited, Jabalpur, which will prove to be a boon for the tennis players and will also inspire new players to play. The Energy Minister congratulated Managing Director Anay Dwivedi and all the officers and employees of his team for the efforts and all the innovations of the East Region Company.
