A Delhi court has given a big order in the Unnao gangrape case. The court has approved the application demanding forensic examination of the victim's voice sample. This application has been given by accused Shubham Singh. Shubham is the son of Shashi Singh, who is reportedly close to Sengar. This case of gangrape is different from the rape case of the same victim by Kuldeep Singh Sengar.

According to Bar and Bench, Special Judge (PC Act) Murari Prasad Singh of Rouse Avenue Court has given permission to take the voice sample of the victim. It has also been ordered that it be sent to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL). So that it can be matched with the audio and video recordings that have become part of the case record.

Allegation- Gang rape a week after rape by Sengar.

It is alleged that the victim was gang-raped a week after she was raped by Kuldeep Singh Sengar. In this case, the lawyers of the accused Shubham Singh argued in the court today that the victim has denied that the voice in the recorded conversation is hers, whereas the recording was relied upon during the trial.

Claim- The victim had left the house of her own free will.

He argued that the recording allegedly contains statements in which the victim has admitted that she had left her home of her own free will. Scientific voice spectrographic examination was necessary to check the credibility of the victim's words. The recording may contain some important evidence for the defense of the accused.

Victim's voice sample should be taken - court

According to Bar and Bench, after considering the case, the court directed that the victim's voice sample be taken. It should be sent to CFSL for comparison. The court also made it clear that permission for forensic investigation is being given only to help the judicial process. The evidentiary value of the report will be assessed at the appropriate stage of the trial.
