Madhya Pradesh Police has achieved success by taking continuous and effective action against property crimes in various districts of the state. In the last two days, the police uncovered incidents of robbery, robbery and organized theft in different districts, arrested the people involved and recovered stolen and looted property worth more than Rs 1 crore.
Taking the serious incident of robbery that took place in Panagar area of the district on priority basis, the police formed a special team. The team inspected the spot and arrested two accused on the basis of technical evidence, CCTV footage and local information. Gold and silver jewelery worth about Rs 30 lakh, cash, two-wheeler used in the incident and mobile phones have been recovered from the accused.
The police has successfully busted an incident of major theft from a warehouse located in Daluda area of the district. During investigation, it came to light that the theft was carried out in a planned manner, in which duplicate keys of the warehouse were used and the theft was carried out by deactivating the CCTV cameras at night. The special team formed by the police identified the gang by investigating the incident site, surrounding CCTV footage, toll plaza footage and other technical evidence. The persons involved have been arrested by raiding various places. During the operation, approximately 300 quintals of wheat, 03 pickup vehicles used in the theft, and duplicate keys were seized. The estimated value of the total seized property is more than Rs 50 lakh.
In an incident of Nakbajani, the police did a quick investigation and took the suspects into custody and seized gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 5 lakh.
Police quickly and effectively disclosed the serious incident of Nakbajan that took place in broad daylight in the Kolar Road police station area of the district and arrested two vicious Nakbajans. Valuable electronic equipment and other items worth around Rs 04 lakh were stolen by targeting the abandoned house of a social media creator. On the basis of analysis of CCTV footage and accurate technical analysis, the police team identified the accused and arrested them and recovered the entire stolen property.
Taking prompt and effective action on the incident of robbery in the district, the police arrested a total of 05 accused including the main accused from Jabalpur. Property worth Rs 5 lakh 77 thousand including the car used in the crime and cash have been recovered from the possession of the accused.
The police took effective action against the incident of fire in the warehouse of Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) under Kotwali police station area of the district and arrested a total of four accused including the sales executive of the company. Stolen goods worth approximately Rs 6 lakh have been recovered from the possession of the accused. Madhya Pradesh Police is continuously taking action for the safety of common citizens and effective control on property crimes.
