Desk: Honda has once again been successful in proving its strong hold in the Indian two-wheeler market. In December 2025, the company sold a total of more than 4.46 lakh two-wheelers in the domestic market and exports. This figure is more than last year by about 45 percent. Which shows that the demand for Honda scooters and motorcycles is continuously increasing among the customers.
Talking about the domestic market, about 3.92 lakh customers bought Honda two-wheelers in December. This sale is about 44 percent more than a year ago. The special thing is that Honda’s reach remains strong in cities as well as rural areas. Scooters like Activa and bikes like Shine, SP 125 are considered reliable options for daily needs. Due to which their demand remains stable.
Honda has also performed well in terms of exports. In December 2025, the company sent more than 53 thousand units abroad, which shows an increase of about 45 percent as compared to last year. The demand for Honda’s affordable and durable bikes is continuously increasing in markets like Asia, Africa and Latin America. Due to which the company has also benefited at the global level.
However, if we compare on monthly basis, the picture is slightly different. There was a decline in sales in December compared to November 2025. A major reason for this is believed to be the end of the festival season and customers postponing purchases at the end of the year. Apart from this, many people also wait for new models and offers to be launched in the new year, due to which there is a slight slowdown in December.
Overall, Honda’s performance on an annual basis has been very strong. Growing sales indicate that the company’s strategy, product lineup and trustworthy brand image are continuing to attract customers. If new models and better offers arrive in the coming months, Honda’s growth may accelerate further.
