Sophie Turner who is known worldwide for playing Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones is currently busy promoting her new web series Steal.
During the promotions of the show, the actress was asked about Indian cinema, if she follows it and if she’s a favourite Indian movie star.

Game Of Thrones Star Sophie Turner Calls Shah Rukh Khan The Goat
When asked about Indian cinema, Sophie Turner replied, “My gosh, that's tough! I mean, Shah Rukh Khan is the GOAT, right?”
She further revealed that she’s a fan of Deepika, “But I love Deepika Padukone, I think she's amazing.”
As for the Indian movie, it was a no brainer for Sophie as she said, “I loved watching RRR”.

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone last worked together in Jawan and Pathaan in 2023 and both those movies broke the box office earning over Rs 1000 crore globally and becoming the top grossers of Indian cinema.
Their next movie together is King directed by Siddharth Anand. Besides SRK and Deepika, the movie also stars Arshad Warsi, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Suhana Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Saurabh Shukla among others.
As for Sophie Turner’s Steal, the show is slated to release on Prime Video from January 21, 2026, onwards.
