Top run scorers in the Vijay Hazare Trophywhich began in the 1993-94 season, is India’s premier 50-over domestic competition. It started as a zonal tournament and then in 2002-03 was turned into a national tournament.

The 2025-26 edition followed the Ranji Trophy (first half) and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26, which began on December 24, comprised over 100 matches played across five groups that consisted of 38 teams.

Karnataka’s Devdutt Padikkal blasted four centuries in his first six matches to ransack over 600 runs in only six games at an average of 100.

However, even that wasn’t enough for Padikkal to outscore Vidarbha’s Aman Mokhade after the sixth round of matches. 24-year-old opener Mokhade amassed 634 runs in six games at an average of 126 and a strike rate of 115, which included four centuries. The likes of Dhruv Jurel and Aryan Juyal, too, were among the hefty runs.

Who scored the highest score in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26?

There were two double centuries in the first six rounds of matches—212 by Swastik Samal of Odisha and 200* by Aman Rao of Hyderabad.

Bihar stunned the fans by plundering the highest team score of 574/6 against Arunachal Pradesh. In that match, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi thumped 190 off only 84 balls, and there were two other centurions in Bihar’s team.

Opening for Mumbai, Rohit hit a century (155) against Sikkim but was dismissed for a duck against Uttarakhand. Virat Kohli played two match-winning knocks for Delhi: 131 against Andhra Pradesh and 77 against Gujarat.
