Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya has given clear instructions to the officials of the Rural Development Department to expedite the payment process by ensuring coordination and synergy. He directed that the self-help group (SHG) members be made more active and that the funds due to them be released on time. He also instructed that inactive groups be revived and more groups be formed. He emphasized that the SHG members should be actively involved. He further directed that the manpower shortage in the field under the Livelihood Mission be addressed promptly. He stated that the goal is to connect 3 crore women to self-help groups and to create one crore women entrepreneurs and one lakh women millionaires.
