Indian women runners won silver medal in relay at the Asian Championships, qualified for 2025 World Athletics Championships. The Indian women’s 4×100 meter relay team performed brilliantly in the 2025 Asian Athletics Championships held in Gumi, South Korea, winning the silver medal with a time of 43.86 seconds. The team included Shrabani Nanda, Abhinaya Rajarajan, S.S. Sneha and Nitya Gandhi are included. China won the gold medal by completing the race in 43.28 seconds, while Thailand won the bronze medal in 44.26 seconds.

With this achievement, India has not only won a medal at the Asian level, but the team has also secured its place in the World Athletics Championship to be held in Tokyo next year. Aji Krishna, Founding Secretary, HRDS India, said, “This silver medal is not just an individual success, but the success of a system that believes in talent, discipline and opportunity. We are proud of Sneha and the entire Indian relay team. Her performance in Gumi shows that Indian athletics is moving in the right direction.”

The long term plan of the Academy is to win medals for India in the 2036 Olympics and it is empowering the youth through a strong training system at the grassroots level. Snehani’s qualification for the World Championships is an important step in this direction. As the Indian team prepares for the Tokyo World Championship, this success in Gumi will continue to inspire budding players across the country.

For HRDS India, this medal also reinforces its broader mission – where every talented youth is provided the right training, resources and platform to compete globally.
