The protests that started in Iran on December 28 are increasing. The fire of rebellion is burning all over the country. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump is continuously warning Iran. Trump had recently said that I have said in very clear words that if they start killing people like before, we will join. Meanwhile, now the statement of Lindsey Graham, a leader very close to Trump, has come to light.

Trump's most important and America's most influential leader Lindsey Graham has given a statement regarding Iran's supreme leader Khamenei. He recently said in an interview to Fox News, if I were in President Trump's place, I would have killed the Iranian leader.

“If it were me, I would kill the Iranian leader.”

In an interview given to Fox News, Lindsey Graham said, Whatever action we are going to take, Mr. President, its purpose is to embolden the protesters and badly intimidate the regime. If I were you, I would eliminate those leaders who are killing people. You have to stop this.

He further said, if this ends properly, peace will be established. All activities of state sponsored terrorism will stop. Hezbollah and Hamas will be eliminated. There will be peace between Israel and Saudi Arabia. A new era will begin in the Middle East.

Gave warning to Khamenei earlier also

Even before this, in an interview, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham had warned Iran's supreme leader that if the country's security forces continued to take action against the protesters, they would have to face dire consequences.

Graham had indicated that if the repression intensified and similar action was taken against the protesters, then President Donald Trump could order the assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Graham said, I want to say to the people of Iran, we stand with you tonight. We are with your struggle in which you want to take back your country from Khamenei.

He further said, and I want to say to Khamenei, you should understand that if you keep killing your own people who are demanding a better life, then Donald Trump will kill you.

“The situation will be like Maduro”

Graham, a longtime ally of Trump, cited the recent arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and said that if other global leaders try to weaken Trump, the same could happen to them. He warned, if you oppose him, if you are part of the old systems and try to weaken them, then what happened to Maduro will happen to you.

What action will Trump take?

Protests started in Iran regarding the economic crisis. On December 28, shopkeepers in Tehran closed their shops due to inflation. After this, these protests spread across the country. Security forces were deployed to stop the protesters. Due to this, clashes have taken place between the protesters and the security forces. So far 500 people have died in the country. At the same time, thousands of people have been arrested. Meanwhile, Trump is continuously warning about attacking Iran. According to CNN report, President Donald Trump is considering both military and non-military options in response to the protests.
