Maharashtra Election Commission has banned the release of January installment for Ladki Bahin Scheme. The Election Commission has cited the Model Code of Conduct for this. Referring to the code of conduct, the Commission has stopped the state government from releasing the installment of Ladki Bahin Scheme. Elections for 29 municipal corporations including BMC are going to be held in the state on January 15.
