Large-scale changes have been made in the security and arrangements for the flag hoisting ceremony to be held on November 25 in Ayodhya. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has made it clear that the Ram temple will be completely closed for the common people on that day. No devotee will be allowed to go to the temple premises or its surroundings. This event is very special and of high security category, which will be attended by thousands of special guests and teams coming from all over the country. In view of the crowd, barricading will be done on both sides of the Rampath and vehicles and persons will not be allowed to move without a pass.
Security agencies have also prepared to install dividers and barricades on the footpaths from Saket Mahavidyalaya to Lata Chowk on Rampath. Security forces will also be deployed on the rooftops of nearby shops and houses. There is a plan to completely stop traffic on Rampath during the program.
Trust general secretary Champat Rai has appealed to the devotees not to try to come to Ayodhya on November 25, as there could be huge problems due to strict route diversion, parking control and security checks on that day. He said that the live telecast of the flag hoisting ceremony can be watched sitting at home, along with this, LED screens are also being installed at more than 30 places in the city.
A five-day Vedic ritual has begun before the flag hoisting on the peak of Ram temple on November 25. Kalash Yatra was taken out on the first day, in which a large number of women participated. In this Kalash Yatra, the holy water brought from Saryu river will be used for the anointment of Ramlala.
According to Dr. Anil Mishra, member of the trust and host of the ritual, 551 urns have been arranged for this yatra. Kashi’s renowned astrologer Pandit Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid is guiding the entire ritual. On the auspicious time of 25th November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the 22 feet long and 11 feet wide saffron flag on the peak of the temple.
As soon as the rituals begin, the work of preparing Prasad has also started. About 500 kg laddus are being made. First these will be offered to Ramlala and then given as Prasad to the guests attending the program. These laddus are being made from pure gram flour, ghee and sugar.
During these five days, many religious and cultural events will take place in Ayodhya, which include folk dances, musical performances, cultural tableaux and programs decorated with traditional rituals. On this special occasion, Ayodhya is being given a grand look with lights, flowers, rangoli and wall painting. Ayodhya, the city of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram, is going to witness another historical and divine moment on 25th November.
