The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman, who recently quit Strictly Come Dancing, disclosed a rather peculiar confession regarding her bedroom habits with husband Kris Thykier in an unearthed interview. The cherished 54 year old television presenter confessed there's one significant intimacy deal-breaker - if Kris has been consuming water. Speaking on the Off Menu podcast with comedian James Acaster, and fellow Traitors co-star Ed Gamble in 2020, Claudia revealed her water aversion runs extraordinarily deep.

"I don't like or believe in water, I won't have it," she stated. Even witnessing a glass of water approaching her table is sufficient to trigger alarm bells, as she explains: "It's a solid no from me."

Claudia explored how this unusual aversion affects her romantic life: "My husband drinks great amounts of water, and I really like him but it's problematic. He's glugging. Don't touch me. 'Claud, take your bra off.' I don't think so - you should be ashamed of yourself."

The mother-of-three continued: "Imagine you're on a date - I've been with the same man for 100 years. He's sitting there and he's like, 'I don't know what to have, what are you going to have? Maybe we should have the same thing.' And someone comes round and says: 'Would you like some water? And he goes: 'Yeah, sure.'", reports the Mirror.

"And they give him a pint glass of water, and he drinks the whole thing. Are you going to want to kiss this many anymore? No. A wet mouth with a big fleshy tongue that is covered in liquid."

Claudia then made a surprising admission about her unusual phobia, disclosing it's not merely water that troubles her, but practically all liquids. "I want a dry, shrivelled-up little man, I want to sleep with Mr Burns, he doesn't drink water, I want him at the table," she confessed.

"I just don't like liquid, I don't like wine, there's all kinds of stuff. Is this too weird?"

Claudia has been wed to film producer Kris for 26 years, having tied the knot in 2000. The pair share three children, Jake, Matilda, and Arthur.

The beloved presenter stunned fans today as she announced she'd be stepping down from her role on Strictly Come Dancing, alongside co-host Tess Daly.

In a statement accompanying a video with Tess, Claudia wrote: "We have loved working as a duo and hosting Strictly has been an absolute dream. We were always going to leave together and now feels like the right time."
