In Buxar district, Bihar, three individuals have been taken into custody on allegations of sexually assaulting a minor girl, as reported by local police on Saturday.

Shubham Arya, the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Buxar, stated, "The investigation is underway, and the victim is undergoing a medical examination." The SP refrained from providing further details regarding the case.

According to police reports, the incident occurred on Saturday morning while the victim was riding a motorcycle with her brother to attend tuition classes.

An officer from the Sonbarsa police station mentioned, "The trio stopped the siblings near the Dangoli bridge, forcibly took the girl to a secluded area, and fled after the assault. After the incident, the victim went to the nearest police station with her brother to report what happened." The officer confirmed that a case has been registered and the investigation is ongoing.
