DMSRDE Kanpur Recruitment: The Defence Materials and Stores Research and Development Establishment (DMSRDE), Kanpur, has announced recruitment for Research Associate and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions for a duration of two years. Eligible candidates in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, and Chemical Engineering are invited to apply. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by participating in a walk-in interview on February 11, 2026.

Under this recruitment, one position of Research Associate (Chemistry) and two positions of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) will be filled.

Eligibility Criteria:
Research Associate (Chemistry): The candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related subject from a recognized university. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply. The maximum age limit is 35 years, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
Subject 1: Chemistry, Materials Science, or Polymer Science - The candidate must have a Master's degree in the relevant subject with first division and must have qualified for NET.
Subject 2: Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, and Polymer Science - The candidate must have a B.E./B.Tech. + NET/GATE qualification or an M.E./M.Tech. degree (first division). The maximum age limit is 28 years, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.

Salary:
Research Associates (RA) will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 67,000. Junior Research Fellows (JRF) may receive Rs. 37,000 in the first year and Rs. 42,000 in the second year, subject to satisfactory progress. In addition, JRFs will receive up to Rs. 15,000 annually and RAs up to Rs. 20,000 annually for contingent expenses.

Fellowship recipients will receive HRA (House Rent Allowance) as per government rules.
