He is currently playing the role of leader of opposition in the assembly. Now the news is that the command of RJD is going to be completely in the hands of Tejashwi Yadav. He may soon be declared the working national president of the party.
According to media reports, a meeting of the party working committee has been called in Patna on January 25. Major decisions are likely to be taken in this meeting. In which a decision may be taken to nominate Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav as the working national president of the party. Lalu Prasad Yadav is currently the national president, but his health remains bad. In such a situation, all the responsibilities of the party are now going to be in the hands of Tejashwi. After becoming the acting national president, his powers will increase further.
This big change in RJD is going to happen at a time when there is competition in the Lalu family to become the successor. It is claimed that Lalu’s elder son and JJD chief Tej Pratap Yadav is trying to prove himself as his father’s successor. An example of this was the curd-chuda feast on Makar Sankranti. On the other hand, Lalu’s daughter Rohini Acharya is targeting Tejashwi without taking his name.
