Mumbai Police have arrested actor Nadeem Khan, known for his role in the film Dhurandhar, following a complaint by his domestic help, who has accused him of raping her over a period of nearly 10 years.

According to the complaint, the alleged assaults began after Khan allegedly promised to marry the woman. She reportedly approached the police after he refused to go ahead with the marriage. Khan is currently in the custody of Malavani Police in Mumbai’s Malad area.

As per reports, the complainant and Khan first met in 2015, after which their acquaintance developed into a relationship. The woman claimed she continued to remain in contact with the actor, believing he would eventually marry her.

The case was initially registered at the Versova police station but was later transferred to Malavani police, as the first alleged incident took place at the complainant’s residence in Malad. The investigation is ongoing.

Who is Nadeem Khan?

Nadeem Khan has featured in several film projects and has worked alongside actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Asrani, Adil Hussain and Sanjay Mishra. He is best known for playing Aklakh, the cook to Akshaye Khanna’s character Rehman Dakait, in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. In the film, his character shares crucial information about Rehman Baloch’s location with SP Chaudhary, played by Sanjay Dutt.

Khan is also set to appear in Vadh 2, the sequel to the 2022 film that received positive audience response. Starring Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, the film is scheduled for release on February 6, 2026.

Following news of his arrest, photographs of Nadeem Khan with several film industry figures have begun circulating on social media.
