Sri Lanka on Tuesday announced that the women’s national team will tour West Indies for a six-match white-ball series, scheduled to take place in February and March 2026.
The two sides will play three ODIs, starting on February 20, followed by three T20Is, with all six contests to be played at the Grenada National Stadium in Grenada.
The T20I series, in particular, will be crucial as both teams look to build on their preparations towards the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup in England this summer.
Sri Lanka is currently the sixth-ranked ODI nation in the Women’s Rankings, while West Indies sits in ninth spot, narrowly missing out on the 2025 ODI World Cup. In the T20I Rankings, West Indies is in sixth, while Sri Lanka is seventh.
Sri Lanka will be looking to win its first T20I series since its 2024 Asia Cup triumph, having most recently suffered a 5-0 clean sweep against India.
West Indies has won its last two T20I series at home against Bangladesh and South Africa.
