Drumstick Soup Recipe: Moringa is considered a boon for health and it must be consumed in some form or the other. If you want, you can make vegetable out of it or any other dish. Today we are going to tell you the recipe of Moringa soup. This Moringa soup is not only great in taste but also helps in strengthening the body from within. This recipe is especially perfect for those days when the body needs detox, healing and rest. So let us know how to make it.

Material

Drumstick beans/Moringa leaves – 1 cup
Onion – 1 small (finely chopped)
Garlic – 3-4 cloves
Ginger – 1 small piece
Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
Cumin – ½ tsp
Turmeric – ¼ tsp
Salt – as per taste
Ghee or olive oil – 1 tsp
Water or vegetable stock – 2 cups
Lemon juice – a little

Method

  1. Heat ghee or olive oil in a pan and add cumin seeds in it. Now add ginger and garlic and fry lightly.
  2. Add onion to it and cook until it becomes transparent. Now add drumstick pods or leaves, add turmeric and salt.
  3. Add water or stock and boil on low flame for 8–10 minutes. Turn off the gas and let the soup cool down and then blend it in the mixer.
  4. Reheat, add black pepper and add lemon juice if desired.
