A woman who has read all six Bridgerton novels has revealed what she hopes to witness on screen in the fourth season of the Netflix series. Divided into two parts, season 4 follows Benedict Bridgerton's (Luke Thompson) journey as he finally embarks on his own romantic adventure.
Benedict encounters his love interest, The Lady in Silver, Sophie (Yerin Ha), in the opening episode of the new season at a masquerade ball. With the begrudging assistance of his sister Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Benedict endeavours to discover The Lady In Silver's true identity.
However, she isn't part of high society at all - she's an ingenious maid employed by the formidable Lady of the house, Araminta Gun (Katie Leung). The eagerly awaited season has prompted readers of Julia Quinn's original novels, published between 2000 and 2006, to share insights into what viewers might expect on screen.
Megan Titterington, who posts on TikTok, highlighted some of her favourite moments from the books that she's hoping will appear in the series.
She said: "Bridgerton season four comes out at the end of this month and I am so excited. I absolutely loved Sophie when I read the book and I also love the fact that it's inspired by Cinderella and I'm just really looking forward to this season so here are some things that I am hoping to see.
"There will be some spoilers ahead, but I'm gonna try and keep it vague if that makes sense. First of all we know that I love a man who yearns and I really really want to see how much Benedict yearns for Sophie.
"I want to see Benedict absolutely haunted by Sophie and reminiscing about the night that they shared together at the masquerade ball, and they better show Benedict painting pictures of Sophie as the Lady in Silver."
Megan revealed another scene she's desperate to witness involves Sophie caring for an unwell Benedict, only to notice something recognisable on the walls.
She explained: "In the book when Sophie takes care of Benedict when he's sick she looks around his room and sees so many pictures and artwork of her as the Lady in Silver and I just think that will be so magical to see on screen. Sophie is an absolutely incredible character and I absolutely love how strong she is in her beliefs as well as how strong she is in the way that she wants her life to plan out and this in particular comes into play with the way that she handles Benedict's advances.
"Sophie is an illegitimate daughter of an earl and the way that this shapes her life also means that it shapes the decisions that she makes. I just can't wait to see her on screen and I hope everyone else loves her as much as I do."
Megan highlighted one particular scene she hopes remains faithful to the book - the moment Benedict discovers Sophie's true identity. She explained: "The scene where Benedict finds out that Sophie is the Lady in Silver because they're playing hide and seek and she puts a blindfold on I am so ready for it. I just know it's going to be absolute fireworks on the screen and I cannot wait to see how it is played out.
"And lastly I'm really excited for the final scene when Sophie, Benedict and Violet confront Araminta because it was absolutely thrilling to read in the book and I just feel like it's going to be so satisfying to watch.
"I want justice to be served for Sophie and I want it to be dramatic. Overall I'm really hopeful to see Benedict and Sophie's story on the screen."
Witness Benedict and Sophie's complete romance when Part 1 arrives on Netflix on January 29, 2026, with Part 2 dropping on February 26.
