Army Public School Teacher Eligibility
Educational Qualification: For PGT teachers, a Post Graduation in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50 percent marks and a B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution is required. For TGT, a graduation and a B.Ed. are required. For PRT, Graduation with B.El.Ed/two-year D.El.Ed is required. Candidates must have a minimum of 50 percent marks in their degree course and B.Ed. CTET or State TET is mandatory. For Army Public Schools, candidates must have passed CTET with 60 percent (90 marks). Other details can also be checked from the official notification.

Other Qualifications: Candidates for these vacancies must have an AWES Online Screening Test (OST) score card. All score cards issued up to December 26, 2025, are valid for life. Therefore, candidates holding an AWES OST score card with a minimum cut-off percentage of 65% can fill out the form.

Age Limit: Candidates below 40 years of age as of April 1, 2026, can apply for this vacancy. No experience is required for them. Candidates between 40 and 55 years of age must have 5 years of experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through an interview. No other written examination will be conducted.
