A total of 31 eligible candidates will be selected under this recruitment drive. Eligibility
For the Assistant Professor position, candidates must have a Master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks. Candidates must also have qualified the NET examination conducted by UGC or CSIR. However, NET is not mandatory for subjects where the NET exam is not conducted. Candidates with a PhD degree can also apply for this recruitment.
Salary
Candidates selected for this recruitment will receive a salary of Rs. 57,700 per month as per Academic Pay Level-10 under the 7th Pay Commission. In addition, they will also receive Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA, and other government allowances.

Then, research publications will be considered.
Teaching experience will also be given weightage.
The final selection will be based on an interview. The selection will be entirely based on the rules and regulations of the UGC and Delhi University.

Candidates applying for this recruitment will have to pay an application fee according to their category. The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates is Rs. 500. However, no application fee will be charged from SC, ST, PwBD, and all female candidates; their application will be completely free. The application fee must be paid online.
