The Supreme Court on Thursday put a stay on the new UGC regulations. The Supreme Court said that it needs to look at the matter again. This decision of the Supreme Court has brought great relief to those opposing the new regulations. At the same time, after the decision of the Supreme Court, various political parties have reacted on this.
BJP MP Nishikant Dubey took a dig at the opposition by posting this on social site X and said that the Supreme Court did what I had said.
He wrote that UGC But all the knowledgeable people who are abusing, I have been going to Parliament for the last 2 days, no member of any political party has thought it appropriate to even discuss this? On the contrary, the government which took care of the poor by giving 10 percent reservation to EWS under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, is being abused.
He said that I again sincerely request you to trust PM Modi, the laws of the country will be governed only under Section 14 and 15 of the Constitution. The Supreme Court did what I said.
Earlier, Nishikant Dubey had written on the social site that in 2005, Congress, RJD, JMM, DMK, BSP and Communist Party had constituted the Seeno Commission on the condition of the upper caste poor. The report came in five years in 2010. Rattles were found in the hands of upper caste children. PM Modi himself gave EWS reservation.

He had said that today there are poor IAS, IPS, doctors and professors. Even in higher education, people are studying after getting reservation, those who work are being opposed. The misconception of this UGC will also be revealed to the people. Sections 14-15 of the Constitution will be fully implemented. I wish there was so much aggression on the rights of minority institutions who could read sections 25 to 29 of the Constitution.
Shiv Sena UBT Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said in a post on social site
I am glad that the Honorable Supreme Court intervened and stayed the UGC guidelines, which were vague, arbitrary and an attempt to create further discrimination on campuses.

He said that I was trolled, abused and derogatory words were used regarding my surname – that too is okay. I will continue to raise my voice against whatever is against natural justice.
He said that it has now become clear that the Government of India has completely abdicated its responsibility to intervene and withdraw the UGC guidelines. It is now clear as day that they have no respect or care for public protest and those who remained silent when it was your responsibility to raise your voice, time will judge.
