On Thursday, January 22nd, 2026, the Tribun Lombok Explore team embarked on a journey along this route. We stopped at The Kayana Beach Lombok, one of the five-star hotels located on the main road, specifically in the Teluk Nara area, Malaka Village, Pemenang District, North Lombok.
There, we were warmly welcomed by Wahid, the marcomm team of The Kayana Beach Lombok. The friendly young man from Gerung, West Lombok, greeted us at the arrival gate with open arms.
That day, the hotel was a bit quieter than usual, with only a few tourists present. “January and February are indeed our low season,” Wahid explained with a smile.
With a genuine enthusiasm, he invited us to explore the hotel and see the various types of rooms available at The Kayana Beach Lombok. We toured the Deluxe Villa, Duplex Villa, and Beachfront Villa, each offering its own unique charm.
Since the hotel covers about five hectares, Wahid whisked us away in a buggy car, sharing tales of the room types that Middle Eastern and European guests love.
After checking out the villa rooms and all their cool amenities, Wahid led us to the restaurant, GYM, and SPA area. What’s really special is that it’s perched on a hill, giving us a breathtaking view of Lombok Island’s stunning beach.
We met Baiq Tiyas Ulyaningsih, the Assistant Sales Manager at The Kayana Beach Lombok. We spent hours chatting over coffee and warm chocolate.
The lovely setting made us forget about time until the afternoon. Sadly, the weather was cloudy and rainy, so we missed the sunset.
Tiyas mentioned, “This is the best spot to watch the sunset if the weather cooperates.”
“For the upcoming fasting month, we’ve got a special iftar menu to break your fast. You can wait for the sunset while enjoying it here,” Tiyas added.
