Hyundai Bayon N Line – 2026 is going to be quite bustling for the Indian automobile market, and Hyundai is seen at the center of this bustle. On one hand the company is working on the new electric SUV and Exter facelift, on the other hand now a new sporty crossover has also come into the limelight.

Recently Hyundai Bayon N Line has been spotted during testing in India, which has made it clear that Hyundai is not just an ordinary Bayon, but is also going to bring a more aggressive and youth-focused version. This car is seen targeting people who need a little sporty fun even in everyday drives.

Second-Gen Hyundai Bayon

The new generation Hyundai Bayon codename is being developed with BC4i CUV. This time Bayon’s design will be more boxy and SUV-inspired than ever. The hatchback-like profile of the old model is now going to be history.

This change is not just limited to the look, but is intended to create a stronger grip in the compact crossover segment. Its direct combat in India is believed to be from Maruti Suzuki Fronx. The much higher Stance and Strong Road Presence will help Bayon stand out from the crowd.

Exterior Design

Talking about design, the front has a redesigned bumper, which is seen as a satin silver garnish. It differs from the matte black finish of the standard model and makes the Bayon N Line more aggressive.

Hyundai can also make changes to the front grille and lower air dam, so that its face looks more sharp. Whether or not LED headlamps and DRLs will change is not yet clean, but overall the front profile appears more sporty.

Talking about the side profile, the identity of N Line here becomes even stronger. ‘N’ branding is given on large two-tone alloy wheels. The matte black cladding seen in the standard model is now seen in a gloss black finish. Gloss black touch is also given on doors and window surrounds. Roof rails are small and in black finish, giving it a more sporty feel.

interior

Hyundai has not manipulated the interior very much, and that is its special thing. The dashboard and steering wheel in the test car were covered in cover, but the layout is expected to remain the same as the standard Bayon.

The cleanest change is seen on seats. Sporty seat upholstery with red piping is provided, leading to the rear headrest. Production models can also see N Line badging on seats, floor mats and door sills. These small changes make the cabin more youthful and energetic.

Engine

Hyundai has not yet officially revealed engine details, but reports are pointing out quite a bit. Standard variants of the Hyundai Bayon coming to India may feature a new 1.2-liter 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This engine can also be seen in N Line version.

Entry-level variants can offer a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, already used in the Hyundai Venue and Hyundai i20 N Line.

Hyundai can slightly re-tune the suspension for the N Line version, so that the driving experience looks more sharp and controlled. It will not be a full N model, but will definitely give a light sporty feel even in everyday drives.

Launch and Price

Talking about the launch, the timeline of October 2026 is currently coming out for the Hyundai Bayon India launch, although some reports also talk of slipping it to early 2027. Speaking of price, Bayon’s X-showroom price can be between ₹7 lakh to ₹15 lakh.

The N Line version will cost slightly more than the standard Bayon. This premium can be considered completely legitimate due to sporty design, mechanical tuning and exclusive elements.
