Often, even after washing the hair, the hair remains sticky or after some time of washing the hair starts getting oily and sticky. In such a situation, dirt starts sticking to the hair in large quantities and styling the hair also becomes difficult, but do you know why hair becomes sticky and what can be done to get rid of it?
First let us know why hair becomes sticky? There can be many reasons for sticky hair. Hair becomes sticky due to oily scalp, use of wrong shampoo, repeatedly touching the hair with dirty hands, using different hair products and hormonal imbalance. Apart from this, due to not washing the scalp properly, the hair also becomes sticky.
Some home remedies have been suggested in Ayurveda, which reduce the stickiness of hair and give new energy. For this, hair should be washed with Neem or Shikakai. Neem or Shikakai should be soaked in water, boiled and hair should be washed with that water. After washing, fresh aloe vera gel should be applied on the hair and Multani Mitti paste should be applied on the hair once a week. Along with cleaning the scalp, it absorbs excess oil and nourishes the hair and scalp.
Second, use the right shampoo. To prevent hair from becoming sticky, use sulphate free shampoo and apply oil to the hair once a week and avoid applying excess oil. It has been believed for centuries that applying oil strengthens the hair roots, which is also true but to a limited extent. Apply oil to the scalp only once a week and then clean the hair thoroughly.
If there is turmeric in the scalp then the hair will automatically grow long and their shine will also remain intact, hence for proper care of hair, do these measures once a week.
