Dimsum Daily reported that in a video widely circulated online, Chow is seen surrounded by fans as he stops to sign autographs while walking through the area. The star appeared relaxed and approachable in a red long-sleeved sports top, glasses and silver hair.
In the clip, a passerby loudly asked whether Chow was Lo. Rather than showing irritation, Chow responded with a calm smile. When the question was repeated, Chow jokingly gave the name of another well-known late public figure, prompting laughter from people nearby.
The video also shows Chow continuing to interact warmly with fans after the mix-up, agreeing to pose for photos before moving on.
Now 71, Chow is a leading figure in Hong Kong entertainment who rose to fame through TVB dramas such as “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” and “The Bund.” Over his career, he has won multiple major honors, including three Hong Kong Film Awards and two Golden Horse Awards for Best Actor.
He is also known for his low-key lifestyle and is frequently seen around the city taking public transportation, shopping at wet markets and hiking local trails, often chatting casually with residents without celebrity airs, reported the South China Morning Post.
