In Bihar, BJP minister Lakhendra Paswan has made serious allegations against Tej Pratap Yadav, elder son of Lalu Prasad and national president of Janashakti Janata Dal (JJD). The minister alleges that Tej Pratap vacated the government bungalow located at 26M Stand Road. When he inspected the bungalow on Saturday, the situation turned out to be very serious. They allege that the housing lacks basic amenities. No person can live here.
Minister Lakhendra Paswan said that the government has allotted him this bungalow to live. When he went to inspect the bungalow on Saturday, he was shocked to see the condition there. Lakhendra Paswan said that the condition of the bungalow is very bad. The ceiling is bad, there is not a single bulb, and all the fans and ACs have been removed. Even chairs, electrical fittings and other basic facilities are missing. Not only this, most of the gates of the bungalow are also broken. The minister alleges that there is nothing inside the residence.
Paswan said that in a way all the essential facilities have been removed from the bungalow. Minister Lakhendra Paswan said that under the government rules, every MLA and minister should get a livable government accommodation equipped with basic facilities. According to government sources, the condition of the bungalow will be formally assessed and necessary repairs will be carried out to ensure the facilities allotted to minister Lakhendra Paswan are maintained.
Minister Lakhendra Paswan said, I informed the officials of the building construction department about the situation and went to the spot and showed them the condition of the bungalow. It is not possible to live here in its present condition. The Building Construction Department of Bihar Government has completed the process of allotting government residences to all the ministers. Under this process, Tej Pratap Yadav vacated the previously allotted bungalow at 26 M Stand Road and it was allotted to Minister Lakhendra Paswan.
