New Delhi: In the recent budget, the government has presented a blueprint for the overall development of the country, in which the target has been set to connect every section with the mainstream. In this budget, special emphasis has been laid on strengthening the rural economy along with the development of urban areas, especially women empowerment has been kept at the centre.
Minister Krishna Gaur said that as per the provisions of the budget, the government is trying to ensure that no section of the country is left behind in the race of development. With this approach, plans have been prepared for both urban and rural areas.
The Minister said that the role of women has been considered important in the budget to give a new direction to the rural economy. Now women associated with Self Help Groups will establish their identity not just as members but also as entrepreneurs. They will be given a new identity as ‘Krishi Maa’, which is being considered a major step towards economic self-reliance in rural areas. The government believes that this initiative will play an important role in economically empowering rural women and improving their standard of living.
He said, along with rural development, urban areas have also been given full attention in the budget. The government aims to develop cities as ‘Ideal Cities’, where all basic amenities are easily available to the residents. Under this, work will be done to improve infrastructure, sanitation, transportation and other civic facilities, so that urban life can become more accessible and organized.
Krishna Gaur said that a detailed plan has also been prepared to convey the budget announcements to the public. In this series, press conferences will be organized in every district of Madhya Pradesh. Through these press conferences, the provisions of the budget, especially schemes to women empowerment and urban development, will be discussed in detail and people’s questions will be answered.
