Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented a new technological initiative for farmers in Budget 2026. They Bharat Vistaar a multilingual and AI-powered digital platform. It aims to provide accurate and simple agricultural advice to farmers in different regions of India, especially in remote areas.
This AI tool works through two major components. is the first Agri Stack The portal, which contains digital records of farmers and important information to agriculture. the second element is ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) Package of Practices, which provides research-based advice, such as crop selection, soil conditions, irrigation methods and pest control.
Bharat Vistaar tool will help farmers improve decision making process, boost agricultural production and significantly increase crop quality. With AI insights and multilingual support, this platform is a significant step forward in the field of digital agriculture.
Bharat Vistaar will be accessible to every farmer and its price has not been publicly announced. This is a government initiative, so it will likely be available for free or at minimal cost.
