Firing at Rohit Shetty’s House : There was firing at the house of filmmaker Rohit Shetty in Mumbai on Sunday (February 1, 2026). Police have arrested four people in this case. Initial investigation has revealed that the accused are linked to Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Shubham Lonkar, who is an accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case.
These four were among the five people who were earlier detained in Pune. He was brought to Mumbai, where a court sent him to police custody till February 5, an official said. It is being told that at least five bullets were fired on the first floor of a nine-storey building in Juhu area at around 12:45 pm. One bullet hit the glass of a gym in the building.
Hours after the shooting, a threatening post surfaced on social media claiming that Mr. Lonkar was behind the crime. However, no one was injured in the incident and it was not known whether Shetty was at the scene when the incident occurred. After the firing, security has been increased outside Mr. Shetty’s building.
