What is foot bath?

Foot bath simply means immersing the feet in lukewarm salt water. It is considered an important evening practice in Ayurveda. It not only relaxes the muscles but also provides stability to the nervous system of our body.

  • Take a tub of lukewarm water big enough to submerge your feet in.
  • Add two tablespoons of rock or sea salt to it.
  • Sitting comfortably on a chair, soak your feet in water for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • During this time, concentrate on your breathing and remain calm.
