India has vehemently rejected Pakistan's allegations of involvement in Friday's suicide bombing at a mosque in Islamabad. At least 31 people were killed in the explosion. Describing the attack as condemnable, the Foreign Ministry said that it is unfortunate that instead of seriously addressing the problems affecting its social fabric, Pakistan has adopted the path of false solace by blaming others for its domestic problems.

At least 31 people were killed and 169 others were injured when a suicide bomber blew up a Shia mosque during Friday prayers in Islamabad. Police said in a statement that the powerful explosion took place at the Khadija Al-Kubra Mosque-cum-Imambada located in the Tarlai area of ​​Islamabad.

Bomb blast in mosque is condemnable

The Ministry of External Affairs said that the bomb blast that took place in a mosque in Islamabad on Friday morning is condemnable and India expresses its condolences for the loss of life and property. He said it was unfortunate that instead of seriously addressing the problems distorting its social fabric, Pakistan was giving itself false solace by blaming others for its domestic troubles.

India rejected Pakistan's allegations

The ministry said that India rejects every such allegation, which is baseless as well as meaningless. Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif alleged without providing any evidence that India and Afghanistan were involved in this attack. In a post on social media, he claimed that it has been proved that the terrorist involved in the attack had come to and from Afghanistan. He alleged that collusion between India and Afghanistan is being exposed.
