Apoorva Lakhia told Bombay Times, “I am not aware of this.” In such a situation, nothing seems to be clear whether Salman's film will be released in August or will be released on the fixed date or will hit the theaters on some other date. No information has been shared by the makers, but it is believed that 'Battle of Galwan' will not release on April 17. This is because Akshay's 'Bhoot Bangla' is also going to be released on April 10. And if the report is to be believed, Akshay has decided on this date only after talking to Salman.

Recently, it was reported in Bollywood Hungama that Akshay had talked to Salman on phone and asked him whether 'Battle of Galwan' is releasing on April 17. Salman told him that things are a bit difficult at the moment due to the delay in getting approval from the Defense Ministry. After that Akshay told them that he is planning to bring 'Bhoot Bangla' on 10th April. Then Akshay announced the release date of the film through social media and told the audience that his film has been preponed and is coming on 10th April. Earlier this picture was scheduled to release on May 15.
