A tragic accident took place in Byculla East, Mumbai on Wednesday (11 February). Here the lift fell in Jai Kripa Tower, in which five people were seriously injured, who have been admitted to the hospital. This incident created chaos all around. As soon as information about the accident was received, Mumbai Fire Brigade, Police, Ambulance and BMC ward staff reached the spot.
According to the information, the lift fell from the fourth floor of the 18-storey residential building. It is being told that this accident happened due to cable failure. Officials said that this incident happened at around 10 pm. Five people were injured in the accident, who were immediately admitted to different hospitals, where they are undergoing treatment. This incident created a stir on the spot.

This incident happened at Jai Kripa Tower located at Ghodpadev Cross Lane No. 1, Byculla. According to initial information, this accident occurred due to failure of lift cable in the 18-storey building. As soon as the control room received the information, Mumbai Fire Department (MFB), Mumbai Police, BEST, 108 ambulance services and local BMC ward staff reached the spot for rescue and relief operations.

Officials said that a total of five people were injured in this accident, who were taken to various hospitals in the city for treatment. The condition of all the injured is currently said to be stable. The three injured – Kalpita Pawar (38), Yash Balvikar (24) and Usha Gupta (56) – were treated on OPD basis at JJ Hospital and their condition is stable. A woman named Jamuna Prasad Shivhare (50) has been admitted to Balaji Hospital and her condition is also stable. Shilpa More (54) was taken to Jaslok Hospital, where she was treated in OPD and is also said to be stable.
