The dispute regarding leadership within the ruling Congress in Karnataka has been going on for a long time, but till now no solution has been found. Recently, despite both the top leaders claiming that there is no problem, the situation of controversy continues. Expressing displeasure over the continuing speculation over the leadership issue, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said, "Enough is enough. This has to be stopped immediately".

While cautioning the party people on Friday, Parameshwara stressed that the energy of the ruling party should be focused on governance and development instead of internal politics.

Leadership will take the right decision at the right time: Parmeshwar

The senior leader of the state said that the party leadership will take the right decision at the right time. He also said that he will also talk to the high command of the party to end this issue.

Parameshwara said, "Our Congress President (Mallikarjun Kharge) has even said that everyone should keep their mouths shut. He cannot be more strict than this. Despite this, leaders and MLAs are continuously making statements on this issue, which is not good for the government. This has to be stopped immediately."

He said, "We should focus on the administration because people's thinking is different towards us. Leaving this aside, each one of us is openly giving different statements on this issue, but this will not be right." He said, "I hope that the party high command is watching all this. At the right time, I will also talk to the high command about this. Because, enough is enough, now all this should end. People are watching us. Their expectations are different. We should focus on development work."

Controversy increased due to CM's son's statement

He says that the high command knows what to do when, and they will work accordingly. Tension within the party has increased again with CM Siddaramaiah's son and MLC Yatindra insisting that his father will complete his 5-year term.

On the other hand, supporters of Deputy Chief Minister Shiv Kumar are repeatedly giving statements that their leader will become the Chief Minister. For this he says that a large number of MLAs are with him. The Congress government completed half of its 5-year tenure on November 20 last year. But meanwhile the tussle within the party regarding changing the Chief Minister has increased.
