Chief Minister Dr. Artificial intelligence based database ‘NatureCan’ developed by Pramod Sawant at Pactrek was launched. Former Director of Tata Memorial Center Dr. Rajendra Badve mentioned that integrated healthcare that combines traditional knowledge and modern science is the need of the hour. Evidence-based AYUSH treatments increase patient tolerance, improve quality of life and provide complementary support to standard cancer treatments, he explained. Paktrek’s questioner Dr. Pankaj Chaturvedi informed that an in-silico, in-vitro, system has been set up at Actrek for scientific evaluation of AYUSH based treatment. Dr. Pramod Sawant (Chief Minister, Goa) said that “under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra, efforts are underway to link AYUSH treatment with modern medicine, with the aim of making holistic cancer treatment available to the common man in collaboration with institutions like Tata Memorial Center and All India Institute of Ayurveda, Goa”.

Chief Researcher of AYUSH Center Dr. Vikram Gota mentioned that identification of potential treatment components in AYUSH, their mechanism of action, safety and efficacy are being thoroughly studied.
