Mumbai, February 17: Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL), the third-largest telecom operator in India, has unveiled an exciting offer of limitless data for its postpaid customers. This initiative is currently available in select regions, specifically in Andhra Pradesh. The new plans start at Rs 451 and go up to Rs 1,201.

This is not the first time Vodafone Idea has introduced such an offer. Similar to Bharti Airtel, which recently launched a comparable service, Vodafone Idea’s unlimited data usage is capped at approximately 300GB per month, after which the speed is reduced to 64 Kbps.

Vodafone Idea’s individual postpaid plans, starting at Rs 451, provide users with unlimited 4G and 5G data, along with additional OTT (over-the-top) benefits. This move aims to attract more customers to postpaid plans, enhancing the company’s position in the competitive telecom market.

The changes are now visible on Vodafone Idea’s website, which could significantly boost its postpaid mobile business and attract new subscribers. With this development, Vodafone Idea is poised to strengthen its standing in the postpaid segment, leaving only Reliance Jio yet to introduce unlimited 4G data for postpaid users in this price range.

Historically, Vodafone Idea and Airtel have been late entrants in such scenarios, but this time, Jio seems to be lagging behind.
