Sanjay Nirupam On Mani Shankar Aiyar statement: The recent statement of senior Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar has created a stir in the country’s politics. Aiyar clearly said that he is a ‘Nehruvian and a Rajivian’ Yes, but ‘Rahulwadi’ No. After this statement, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam has strongly attacked the current situation of Congress and the working style of Rahul Gandhi.

Ignoring superiors and ‘juniors’ Raj’s allegation

Sanjay Nirupam said that an experienced leader like Mani Shankar Aiyar has had to face immense neglect and mental harassment within the party in the last few years. Nirupam alleged that at the behest of Rahul Gandhi, his junior leaders sitting in high positions are taking action against senior leaders. He said that the main reason for Iyer’s displeasure is that he is not being heard in the organization.

Targeted at KC Venugopal

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam also raised questions on the efficiency of Congress Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal. He sarcastically asked whether Venugopal is strengthening the Congress or unknowingly helping the opposition parties? According to Nirupam, opposition to Aiyar’s programs in states like Kerala shows that democracy within the party is eroding. He stressed that Iyer is an Indian citizen and no political party can stop him from going to any part of the country.

Grassroots leaders are not getting respect

Sanjay Nirupam said in a warning tone that the current structure of Congress in Delhi is completely flawed. Here the leaders associated with talent and land are not getting respect, that is why even the leaders who were once staunch supporters of the Gandhi family are leaving the party today. He said that if Congress does not introspect soon, it will prove to be a suicidal step for it.

What did Gaurav Nirupam say on the meeting of PM Modi-Macron?

Amidst the political attack, Sanjay Nirupam expressed happiness over the meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron in Mumbai. He said that it is a matter of pride for Mumbai to become an international center. Choosing Mumbai for dialogue with the head of a global superpower reflects the city’s growing importance.
