How to remove chewing gum from hair
Use of oil (most effective method)
Coconut oil, olive oil or mustard oil reduce the stickiness of gum. Apply a generous amount of oil on the gum. Leave it for 5–10 minutes. Gently pull the gum downwards with fingers or a comb. The gum will slip out easily.

Apply peanut butter on gum. Rub with a cloth after a few minutes. Gum becomes loose due to oil.
Ice (Ice Method)
Rub an ice cube on the gum. When the gum becomes hard, break it gently and take it out. This method is good for small parts.

Place the shoes in a plastic bag (make sure the gum is facing up). Keep in the freezer for 1–2 hours. The gum will harden and can be easily scraped off.
