In the statement issued by the team, it was said that all the news spreading about Sanjay Leela Bhansali is false. The news of him having a heart attack and being admitted to the hospital is baseless.

The team appealed to the people and media not to spread any kind of news without verification and not to rely on rumours.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali celebrated his 63rd birthday on 24 February. On this occasion, many big stars of the film industry wished him on social media and personally. The day after the birthday celebration, some online reports started claiming that his health suddenly deteriorated during the party and he was immediately taken to the hospital.

It was claimed in these reports that he is undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors. But the team in its statement termed this news as a complete rumour.
