The Madhya Pradesh Commission has increased the number of Mining Inspector positions under the Mineral Resources Department to 72. This brings the total number of positions to 85 from 13. Under the new official notification, a total of 22 positions are reserved for General category candidates, 14 for SCs, 17 for STs, 23 for OBCs, and 9 for EWS candidates.
Educational Qualifications
To apply for the position of Mining Inspector in the Mineral Resources Department, candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age. Age relaxation is also available.
Candidates must possess a B.Sc. degree and other required qualifications.
Postal Increase in State Services Examination
According to various media reports, the number of positions will also be increased for the State Services Examination 2026. According to reports, the number of positions could be increased to 155.
