The teaser of the first song **“Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge”** from Akshay Kumar’s upcoming horror-comedy **Bhoot Bangla** was released on February 25, 2026 (Tuesday), creating tremendous excitement for the film. The high-energy clip sees Akshay in his comic style, giving off his signature entertainer vibe amid vibrant, unique visuals, haunting chaos and catchy beats that perfectly capture the film’s mix of humor and horror.
Composed by **Pritam**, with lyrics by **Kumar**, the teaser features the voice of **Dev Arijit** (who is also credited as Arvan in some promotions) and also includes a fun rap segment written and sung by **Mello D**. The full song was released on 26 February (Thursday), which quickly started trending as fans praised its nostalgic energy, reminiscent of Akshay’s hit songs from the 2010s.
The teaser release comes right after Akshay shared a jaw-dropping motion poster, which shows him in a dramatic ‘Tantric-like’ avatar—shirtless, on a scary throne with demonic faces and horns carved on it, wearing black sunglasses, multiple Rudraksha beads and a rosary, while screaming dramatically in between. The visual is deeply reminiscent of his **Bhool Bhulaiyaa** role, with fans calling it “OG King is back” and giving “Bhool Bhulaiyaa vibes”.
**Bhoot Bangla** marks the long-awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar and director **Priyadarshan** after 14 years (after Khatta Meetha in 2010), following cult classics like Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Bhagam Bhaag. The film stars Akshay along with **Tabu**, **Paresh Rawal**, **Rajpal Yadav**, **Vamika Gabbi**, **Jisshu Sengupta**, **Asrani**, and others.
Presented by **Balaji Motion Pictures** (a division of Balaji Telefilms) in association with **Cape of Good Films**, it is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by **Akshay Kumar**, **Shobha Kapoor**, and **Ekta R Kapoor** (co-produced by Fara Sheikh and Vedant Vikas Bali). Shooting will end in May 2025.
The film will be released theatrically on **April 10, 2026**, which promises to be a strange, laugh-out-loud horror-comedy experience.
