Qualifications for the Constable Operator Position

For the Constable Operator position, candidates must have passed the 12th standard in the science stream. Physics, Chemistry, and Maths are mandatory subjects. A minimum of 50 percent marks is required for the general category. 45 percent marks are required for SC and ST categories. Candidates must have passed from a recognized board.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 25 years for the general category. The maximum age limit is 27 years for extremely backward and backward class men. The maximum age limit for backward class women is 28 years. The maximum age limit for SC, ST, and transgender candidates is 30 years.

Salary?
Candidates selected for the Constable Operator position will be paid a Level-3 salary, ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month. In addition, dearness allowance, medical, and other government benefits will also be provided.

What will be the selection process?
The selection process for Constable Operator recruitment will be completed in three stages. First, there will be a written examination, which will consist of 100 questions. This examination will last two hours. The exam will cover general knowledge, current affairs, physics, chemistry, and math. The exam will be at the intermediate level. A minimum of 30% marks is required to pass the written exam.

The second stage will be a physical efficiency test, consisting of running, high jump, and shot put. Male candidates must complete a 1.6 km run in 6 minutes. Female candidates must complete a 1 km run in 6 minutes. Document verification will then be conducted. The final merit will be determined based on the written exam scores.

Physical Standards for the Constable Operator Post
The minimum height for male candidates is 165 cm for the general and backward classes. 160 cm for the extremely backward and SC/ST categories. The minimum height for women is 155 cm. Female candidates must weigh at least 48 kg.
