The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened the correction window for the Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE 2026). Candidates who have made mistakes in filling out the UPSC IAS form can make corrections online until March 3, 2026. Corrections can be made online by visiting the portal upsconline.nic.in.

Modifications can only be made online
All candidates should be informed that corrections to the form can only be made online. To do this, you must sign in by entering your login details, make the corrections in the required fields, and resubmit the form.

Young candidates dreaming of becoming IAS officers should accelerate their preparations to succeed in the exam. The UPSC CSE Preliminary Exam 2026 will be held on May 24, 2026, at designated exam centers across the country. Admit cards for the exam will be made available online on the official website a few days before the exam date. No applicants will be sent admit cards offline or through any other means.

Selection Process
To be selected for IAS positions, one must first appear in the preliminary exam. Candidates who achieve the required cutoff marks in this exam will then be asked to appear in the main exam. Finally, they will have to appear for an interview. After all the stages, a final list will be prepared. Those who make it to this list will be selected for the vacant positions based on their rank. A total of 933 vacant positions are to be filled through this recruitment process.
