The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has activated its Passenger Assistance Control Room (PACR) to address complaints and assist travellers affected by flight suspensions to and from West Asia.
The announcement comes amid widespread airspace restrictions and operational disruptions in parts of the Middle East, prompting several airlines to cancel or reroute services.

MoCA said the control room is prioritising real-time redressal to ensure timely support to stranded or impacted travellers. Helpline numbers issued by Indian embassies in affected countries are also being actively shared with passengers to facilitate further coordination where necessary.

Passengers have been advised to reach out through the ministry’s official social media handles, the AirSewa portal, or via helpline numbers 011-24604283 and 011-24632987 for assistance.
The ministry’s intervention comes as Indian carriers and several international airlines continue to adjust schedules in response to evolving security developments across West Asia.

Control room monitoring complaints
In an official update, the ministry said the PACR is proactively monitoring passenger grievances received through social media platforms, the AirSewa portal and dedicated helplines. In coordination with airlines and airport operators, 411 passenger grievances have been resolved so far during the ongoing situationMoCA said the control room is prioritising real-time redressal to ensure timely support to stranded or impacted travellers. Helpline numbers issued by Indian embassies in affected countries are also being actively shared with passengers to facilitate further coordination where necessary.
