There’s nothing quite like a good spring clean to get our homes feeling squeaky clean and ready for a new season, and no one knows that better than Sophie Hinchcliff. The cleaning influencer, who is better known as Mrs Hinch, has long been a go-to for clever household tips and tricks that keep your home looking spotless and organised, including sharing the cleaning gadgets she can’t live without.
One such handy tool is the SonicScrubber, which Mrs Hinch has used to clean everything from window sills to her washing machine thanks to its interchangeable heads. And for those who want to make their spring cleaning easier on a budget, it’s now on sale at Amazon down from £22.95 to £18.94.

Brilliant for taking the manual labour out of cleaning, the electronic scrubber is completely cordless so you can use it everywhere, and has 10,000 oscillations per minute which helps break down and scrub dirt without having to use up all your energy. The SonicScrubber comes with four different heads; one large, one soft, one cone and one all-purpose, which you can use to get into all the various nooks and crannies of your home.
The heads work on everything from window trims and grout to hobs, taps and upholstery, so you can make your house look and feel squeaky clean from top to bottom. Plus all the heads are dishwasher safe so you can keep them looking spotless and bacteria-free too.
If you’ve got higher points you want to reach, or need something that’ll cover a larger surface area, the Lakeland Turbo Scrubber Cordless Bathroom Cleaning Kit is currently £44.99 down from £59.99. It has a reach of 112cm, with four cleaning brushes designed for different areas like bathrooms, tiles and floors, and you can get an hour of cleaning out of one charge.
You could also pick up the £20 JML Electric Scrub Buddi at Dunelm, which is great for more stubborn stains and grime. It has a powerful spinner and a handheld design, with two interchangeable heads – one for flat surfaces and one for corners, so you can clean everything from tiles to taps.
However Mrs Hinch’s SonicScrubber has gotten great reviews from shoppers, with one saying: “Excellent for cleaning. Really long battery life. Very effective for removing lime scale or build up around sink etc. easy to hold and use. Good multiple attachments.”
Another agreed: “Excellent for cleaning the grout on my bathroom tiles and very effective. Much quicker and easier than trying to wipe off with a cloth. The brush sizes are good. Great quality product which I would recommend.”
One did say: “The product is not as effective as I thought, but it gets the job done if you stay on it for a while. The power ain't quite strong enough.”
And one found a design flaw with the SonicScrubber, saying: “It's good for corners, smaller and easy to reach surfaces/places. However, it would be annoying if you're using it on floor/wall tiles as it's not long so you'd either have to sit on the floor to use it or get on a chair to get to the higher wall tiles.”
However others raved about it, saying: “Gets in all the nooks that I couldn’t be bothered getting. Bought originally for my window frame as it was all mouldy when we moved in now it sparkles.”
