Based on the vision of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and Developed India 2047, this partnership marks a move for teachers from mere digital access to meaningful digital participation. TheTeacherApp has long been supporting teachers through training and learning resources. Its new AI-enabled version adds a direct support layer to the teaching workflow, providing instant help relevant to the actual classroom as well as easy access to relevant content across all grades and subjects.

Speaking on the occasion, India’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, “The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has given a clear direction for the transformation of the education system and our key objective is to support teachers at every stage. Quality resources that cater to the diverse needs of every class and every student are essential for teachers and today AI is no longer a luxury but a necessity. These initiatives that effectively use technology to empower teachers are transformative. In 2024 I am proud to be a part of the launch of TheTeacherApp and it is inspiring to see this next step in supporting the integration of AI in classrooms across India today.”

Speaking about the partnership, Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Vice President, Bharti Enterprises and Co-Chairman, Bharti Airtel Foundation, said, “Teachers are the architects of India’s future and NEP 2020 places them right at the center of education transformation. In just 15 months since its launch in 2024, TheTeacherApp has connected over 2 lakh teachers, providing hundreds of hours of quality educational materials and learning experiences. The strong need for continuous professional development is evident. Today, our collaboration with CK-12 is expanding teachers’ toolkits by incorporating intelligent classroom resources into the teaching process, allowing less time to prepare and more time to motivate students. As India moves towards Developed India@2047, these initiatives demonstrate how thoughtfully integrated AI technology can help teachers reach every student and strengthen the long-term national goals of education for the future.”

Highlighting the importance of AI in teacher training, Neeru Khosla, Co-Founder and Executive Director, CK-12 said, “AI is no longer an option in education. Today’s teachers need adaptive and intelligent assistants that understand the reality of the classroom. This partnership combines TheTeacherApp’s broad reach with CK-12’s technology leadership to provide meaningful and future-proof support for every teacher.”
