The controversy over famous rapper and singer Badshah’s new song ‘Tatiri’ has increased so much that now Haryana Police has started tightening the noose against him. Two separate FIRs have been lodged in Panchkula and Jind following allegations of obscenity and derogatory remarks towards women in the song. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police has also started the process of issuing Lookout Circular (LOC) against Badshah so that he cannot leave the country.

Police teams are continuously raiding to arrest the rapper. Meanwhile, after the growing controversy, the song has been removed from YouTube and preparations are underway to remove it from other social media platforms as well. Police have warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone who shares this song or any objectionable material to it.

FIR in Panchkula, allegation of calling ‘school a bed’

A person named Abhay Choudhary has filed a complaint against Badshah in the cyber police station of Panchkula. According to the report of ‘Dainik Bhaskar’, the complainant has alleged that many scenes and words in the song are extremely objectionable. In the song, the school has been called ‘Bedshala’ instead of ‘Pathshala’, which is an insult to educational institutions.

It has also been said in the complaint that lines like ‘Aaya Badshah, offer the doli, make these mare’ hurt the dignity of women and give the message of obscenity in the society. Haryana Women Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia has also described these words as ‘objectifying’ women. In this matter, the Women’s Commission has also sent summons to Badshah to appear on March 13.

Controversy over use of Jind roadways and government school

Another controversy regarding the song has come to light in Jind. A bus from Jind Roadways Depot has been used in the shooting of the song, for which no permission was taken from the department. The General Manager of the depot says that this is an attempt to tarnish the image of Haryana Roadways.

Apart from this, a government school in Sacha Kheda village of Narwana has also been shown in the song without permission. A scene in the song shows school girls singing while climbing on top of a bus and throwing their school bags, which has drawn strong objection from many social organisations.

Who is the king of Haryana?

Badshah’s real name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia and he is originally from Uchani village in Karnal district of Haryana. His father was a government employee. After completing his studies in Delhi and Chandigarh, he entered the world of music. Badshah has given many hit songs, but his association with controversies is also older. The case of the song ‘Tatiri’ has become one of the biggest controversies of his career.
